LABORATORY TESTS
Safak Makina has made and continues to make investments that will increase its quality by extending its measurement capability in line with the customer expectations.
There are approximately 500 measuring and inspection devices to perform other measurements and inspections at various stages of production. In addition, we verify the accuracy of the products with the tests we carry out at various stages of our processes. These include;
. Salt Test Device (according to ASTM B-117)
. Powder Test
. Impulse (impact pressure) test
. Expansion Test
. Sealing test with oil at high pressure (200-220 bars)
. Leakage test with nitrogen gas at low pressure
. Tightness test with air at low pressure

R & D STUDIES
Our company attaches great importance to Research and Development activities in accordance with the increasing competitive conditions in our country and in the world. Our company introduces the top quality machinery into the market in Turkey, directly proportionate to its expanding expert staff and the investment made in the machinery.
R & D team designs the machinery, automation solutions, special tools and test equipment that meets the customers’ expectations, by means of the latest CAD and Analysis Programs, project management software, kinetic dynamic analysis and experienced engineers. Our customer-oriented designs comply with the European Safety Specifications (CE mark). In the process of commissioning of the new products by the companies of which we are supplier, our Company is involved in the prototypes and design stages and designs testing and equipment f prototype products as well as custom-made/mass produced machinery.
ENGINEERING STUDIES
The process design part of the designing works carried out by the R & D department is accomplished by the engineering department and all prototypes and sampling studies requested by the customers are performed and commissioned in the Engineering Department.
Engineering Department utilizes Pro Engineer, Catia, Master Glass, AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop and Inventor programs. Customer satisfaction and product quality are the main objective in all process design studies.
In order to increase product quality and to provide our customers with a better quality
service to, team spirit is the top priority; and a APQP team is made for all customer requests (samples, prototypes), by which feasibility, FMEA, MSA works are carried out.
Our engineering department has successfully implemented many projects by paying great attention to the specific requests from the customer and carrying out team work with the customers whenever needed.
LOGISTICS SERVICES
In our company, Just In Time method is adopted by taking customer production lines as a reference. Electronic orders received via EDI connections in Computer environment are supported by ERP program. All customer production lines are analysed on a daily basis and scheduled purchasing and related production and shipments are fulfilled successfully. Safak Machinery Inc. meets the special requests of all its customers by combining the experience and flexibility gained in this field, with the quality service concept. All customer production lines are supported by D0 shipment performance guarantee as part of this service concept.

QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Our company holds ISO TS 16949 and ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and Q1 certificates issued by Ford.
APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA works are carried out at our company as required by the standard in addition to other applications considering the Special Requirements of the Customer.
Corrective and Preventive Actions are planned, 8D methodology is employed and our suppliers are asked to adopt the same method. The techniques, such as 5 Whys, Brainstorming, Fishbone, etc. are used to find out the main reason of the problem.
A Suggestion system is established in our company in an effort both to plan the activities to increase employee satisfaction, take preventive actions and award our employees according to the results of the suggestions.
